This journey through life takes us down many paths and experiences—some positive, some negative, some big, and some small. Asking for help through your life experiences is a courageous first step! My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you through this life journey by creating a therapeutic relationship that provides support, empathetic listening and together we will create tools and build skills that can help you relieve symptoms and improve your mental health. My style involves collaboration as you are the expert in your life. I want to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that helps you to feel secure in your thoughts, emotions, values and beliefs. Therapy can provide an environment where someone can come to Share, Trust, Accept, Resolve and Transform (S.T.A.R.T.).
I currently not accepting new clients. If you would like to join my waitlist, please send me an email via the contact link on my website.
My professional journey started when I moved to Colorado in 2013 after graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico. Shortly later I started my Master's program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. During this program, my professional and internship experience included working at Children's Hospital Colorado and People's House. After graduating from Master's program, I completed my two and a half years of licensure hours at Parker Counseling. Now I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist within the State of Colorado (MFT.0002420).
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading, puzzles, being a mother, building a partnership, spending time with friends, being a Broncos and Rockies fan, and exploring wonderful Colorado! I am working on content and can be found scrolling down this page to my social media links.
